Verified Julius’ home was beyond anything we ever expected. The home was even better in person. It is remote enough to feel tranquility but close enough to local amenities. We went there for my brothers wedding weekend and it was such a perfect spot for a family reunion. Everyone had a place to sleep! The home was clean, provided extra supplies, and was incredibly cozy. We would definitely go back if we had another wedding in Lancaster.

Juliana has been extremely courteous, helpful, patient, and thorough helping me to arrange a Welcome Party for our daughter and her fiance's wedding, housing for the wedding party, housing for the wedding couple, and transportation to and from the wedding venue on the day of the wedding for the wedding couple and their wedding party and significant others. Our family was very pleased with the Welcome Party location, setting, extremely helpful service from the owners, and beautiful memories we made at the French Country Manor!

They went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. They even served our breakfast on our private deck the first morning. They also helped us find Local attractions, eateries and offered great advice. The love and care they put into this property is evident as soon as you pull in. We will be returning. Verified Beautiful space. Communication after check-in was 2 out 5. Hospitality (when I could get a hold of someone) 4 out of 5. My stay wasn’t the best, I work till 8:30 and I was told the kitchen is locked at 9. I rush home and at 8:45 the kitchen is locked… that includes the microwave, plates, silverware, napkins, and most importantly water. Every night I had to figure out how to enjoy a meal getting home at 8:45-11pm when the entire place is aimed at a guest that will enjoy a meal that they cooked for us.. Is a hard working man that works 10 hours a day not allowed these things? Well not on this trip at least..Most nights I just didn’t eat, and I couldn’t reheat my left overs without someone’s assistance.. I am a full grown man, I should be able to access a fork.. a plate.. and a microwave to have a hot meal but after the hours of 9 (actually 8:45) I was not allowed to eat. all around nice people. Terrible time. Starving myself for a nice view.

Verified This historic home is charming, super clean, spacious with several seating areas for gathering and family conversations. We traveled to Strasburg for a family wedding and had a total of 10 adults with us. There was ample parking, plenty of room to stretch out for solo time or gather together for our meals and family game night. There is an elevated screened in porch that we LOVED because it rained the last morning, coffee with rain in a protected screened in porch is a perfect ending to a weekend away. There is a delicious farmers market within under 5 minute walk where we bought apple cider donuts, fresh sourdough breads and fruits/ vegetables. One final note, the attic room is awesome! It would be perfect for an entire family to stay in just that room if you had to. It felt like a hideaway! Hosts are responsive, pleasant and accommodating. I would definitely stay here again if in the area.

We mistakenly signed with these guys because they had enough accommodations for our whole group but we needed time to get rsvps together and they refused to hold the rooms for us even though we told them we were going to need all of them. They immediately started hassling us for money to book the accommodations not even a week after signing saying they had another group interested in booking the biggest house on the property for our wedding weekend and they weren’t going to stop them. This put a bad taste in our mouths so we backed out and asked for our $1900 deposit back. We had only signed 3 weeks prior and our date was well over a year out, so they definitely were going to book the mid September date again, no doubt. They stole our money and when we asked why they just kept sending us copies of the contract saying the deposit is no refundable. Like ok, fine, but you caouldve given us our money back. We’re 29 and 28 years old, we don’t have a lot of money and we gave you a year to get the date booked again. Just kind of greedy behavior that other people should be aware of. Their vendor list is disappointing and the property was generally underwhelming but the price was good.

Verified Every single thing was amazing! Beautiful, immaculate property both inside and out, complete with amazing decor, comfy beds, and great linens. It's in a quiet country setting, off the beaten path, but only a short drive to Lancaster City. Amish farms are also a short drive away, which adds to the charm. The breakfasts were the best! Everything was delicious and fresh. We enjoyed hiking near the brook and up the property's wooded hills. Best of all, the hosts literally made you feel like family. We were thrilled with our stay and hope to return. Thank you to our gracious hosts!

We stayed at French Country Manor for our wedding weekend, and I honestly don’t think we could have chosen a more perfect place.

From the moment we arrived, the property felt special. It was beautiful, peaceful, incredibly well cared for, and gave us the perfect place to slow down and enjoy such an important weekend with the people closest to us.

Having a place like this to come back to during all the excitement of the wedding made such a difference. It became more than just somewhere we stayed — it became part of the memories. Getting ready, spending time with family and friends, laughing together, talking about the day, and being able to actually enjoy those little moments made the entire weekend even more meaningful.

The manor itself has so much charm and character. It feels elegant without being stuffy, comfortable without losing that special getaway feeling, and the setting is absolutely gorgeous. It was the kind of place where you walk around and keep finding another spot you love.

For anyone considering French Country Manor for a wedding weekend, family gathering, or special occasion, we cannot recommend it enough. Our wedding weekend is something we’ll remember for the rest of our lives, and French Country Manor will always be a part of those memories.

Thank you for giving us such a beautiful place to celebrate one of the biggest weekends of our lives. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Verified We enjoyed our stay for our small group at the farmhouse. Everything went well and we loved the quiet location. The rooms were spacious and bedrooms were very nice and loved the old world charm of the home. We enjoyed the pool table in the basement and spent most of our free time out on the side porch talking and having cocktails after we went out on Sat and Sunday exploring the areas. Would recommend to friends and family and would book again if ever we find ourselves in that area.
